Match Notes
Keith Aggott of Parramatta replaced McCarroll, who was forced to withdraw as he was bitten by a spider.
Les Hardy of Easts was replaced by Maurice Kermond, as Hardy was ruled to be eligible to play for St. George. Two other Easts players were also adjudged as eligible for St. George earlier in the week. They were R. Wort and C. Mansfield.
